Last night we went out to Toys 'r' us and picked out a board game to play. We ended up with one of the 14 different versions of trivial pursuit, and I was taken by one specific question.
"What popular geometric toy had its own super-powered cartoon show from 1983-1985?"
give it a whirl in the comments. No cheating by harnessing the power of the internet, now.
Posted by Janine at February 12, 2004 09:32 AMGeometric....so not transformers... Rubik's cube?
Posted by: EdgeWise on February 12, 2004 10:58 AMMy guess is the Rubik's Cube...I see I'm not the first to guess that. Although I can't imagine how a show about a multicolored cube could last even two seasons.
Posted by: Shawn on February 12, 2004 12:39 PMSee, I guessed Slinky and I was wrong. You both got it right, but I just find that the most hilarious concept for a show ever. And what's better: I have pictures.
Rubik, away!
Oh. My. God.
"Get that thing away from me... and if it touches my teeth, I'll scream."
Posted by: Austin on February 12, 2004 01:28 PMWow. I miss the 80's
Posted by: Shawn on February 12, 2004 04:02 PMlol, austin. i also guessed correctly. which version of trivial pursuit did you get? scott and i bought the 20th anniversary edition last week!
Posted by: d on February 13, 2004 07:55 PMthey also bought this weird team-based one that's all about speaking softly and challenging the team leader. it took forEVER to end.
Posted by: on February 13, 2004 09:35 PMthat was me, see. above there. i'm an idiot.
Posted by: abby on February 13, 2004 09:35 PMit took forever to end because we were all stupid on the questions that counted and intelligent about the ones that didn't.
Posted by: d on February 14, 2004 12:37 PMThat's the one we got as well. We were hoping if all the questions happened in our lifetime it would be easier. Sadly, it still took us 2+ hours to finish.
Posted by: Janine on February 16, 2004 08:24 AMHey! Nice bathroom!! I cant wait to see it! Hope you're all doing well.
