Winter Wonderland

There are certain signs left by Mother Nature to let us know it will be a cold winter. Geese flying south early, muskrat houses being built especially thick, or even your furnace melting the house around it.

We don't know when it happened, but that exhaust pipe just above the melted PVC one is too hot to touch. Guess what we're doing today!

What is that pipe for? Seems like a bad place for it. The melty piece looks pretty cool.

Dad says it's the drain for the A/C condenser. Based on all the other pipes being fine and that extra connector, we think that it's an air trap. So, melted theory disproved but it still looks funy.
