Now it's time to play our game....

Threeee of these thing beee-long to-GETH-er, three of these things are kinda the same. Can you GUESS which ONE does NOT bee-long here?

I'll give you a hint. It's the one where you can still see my toes.

Hurrah for socks! Those are my rainbow connection socks and Austin's Pi socks. I'm not too fond of mine, since they turned out much too green. It's my fist time using variegated wool and even with the nice Crusoe pattern from knitty, they look much more muddy than the ball of yarn does.

Austin's socks were the first thing I knitted on double-pointed needles of death, and the first pair of socks. As such, they look a little silly. See?

The one on the right was the first sock, let's just call those holes.....decorative. The second one is on the left and you can see I've gotten better at making sure they don't happen, my rainbow ones are even better! So, anyone want to hazard a guess why I call them Pi socks?

Ah, the best way to answer questions: cheating!
Hint: it has nothing to do with the color.

I can't answer either as I was already informed of the secret.

It's because of Pi, the math constant. Pi is an (almost) random, non-repeating sequence. So with 3.1415926535..... in mind, check out the rows of stripes again.
