The swerater is done!

So, I haven't spent much time online lately. Everyone remember this from back in January?

Well, give it four months, water and lots of food and it magically becomes this!

It's enough to make a girl do jazz hands! Tah dah da da daaah! For those who are interested, it's the "Cotton jacket with chenille edgings" from Sarah Dallas' "Vintage Knits". I had to put an extra 22 rows in for a whole extra button repeat in order to get the length I needed. I'm pretty darn proud, especially since it's only my second project. And wanna know something even better? After 1300 yards of yarn, here's what I have left:

About six. Phew.

Yay! That is so cool! It turned out really snazzy. On tuesday, remind me to describe the cool orange sweater the waitresses at "Peep" in NYC wear.

You went to a "peep" show in NY and they wore sweaters?

Nah, that's the name of the thai restaurant where the walls are one-way mirrors so when you're going to the bathroom, you can see everyone eating, even though they can't see you. It's pretty freaky.
