Slightly sunburnt, sunburned, sunburnded

Austin and I went out on the river for the first time this year. The weather was perfect and the kayaks are so much fun. We still need a little practice on maneuvering these long boats around, but I think we did pretty well and are only a little sunburnt.

In other news (because I don't have nearly enough hobbies) I started a stained glass class. There's actually only one more week after tonight, but it's a good hobby that fits nicely. I'm almost finished with the first project, a nice panel which is already promised to Mom. I'll be glad to finish all the class' patterns, they're rather uninspired. I'm scanning old art nouveau picures and photoshopping out the extra lines so I can possibly do them in glass. Such fun and creativity hasn't been seen since the wedding!

Speaking of the wedding, we finally got the Edward's pictures in on Saturday. I was sad to see them go, since it's just so *final* now. That's it, we're married, all the planning and preparation is done. The marriage part is fine, but it was a lot of fun getting the wedding set and being a pretty pretty princess for a while. We still have 10-12 weeks before the books come back, and Beth's pictures to sort though in the meantime. Aaah, such is life.
