Stevie and Jen came out this weekend for fun and to be technical consultants on the new bike I've been needing. The old bike, while well-loved, was the original "big-girl bike" I got when I was twelve. The new beauty is the Trek 7500FX, and I love it so much it makes me feel vaguely dirty.
To combat that, I commuted in to work today. I live 35 miles from work, so I drive to a park n' ride and biked in the last eight. Such fun! Nice rolling hills, a better way to wake up than coffee, and now I get to work feeling like I'm all set to go. Does that granola cancel out the cash I dropped on the bike? I certainly hope so.
