I've never really been one for New Year's resolutions, but it seems I'm changing myself around and the holiday is just a coincidence. Austin and I have been waking up at 5 for the last month to go work out. We then sit around the table, reading the paper and eating breakfast until it's time to go to work. Surreal, I know. I have a real desire to do things now, instead of just plop on the couch after work and endure. I'm taking classes through work on PLCs and advanced Excel, I'm thinking of signing up for Yoga at my work's gym. I want to get more things done on the house before Februaury, I want to work on stitching again, I want to pick up Murray and toodle around on the guitar in the basement. This feels like ME again, this random swirl of happy hobbies, and I'm glad to be feeling like myself again. The job and house switch affected me more than I know, I'll wager.

Posted by: Janine on December 30, 2003 12:59 PMYeah, but I thought you might figure I had adopted a weird internet persona and start calling me EdgeWise in person. Sending me pictures of frenetic weasels and clothes wearing monkeys would soon follow.
