Some wedding pictures

Hey, I'm still alive. Austin's Dad took some pictures at the wedding and has them up at his page, go check them out. Some of them may be people you have never met on that side of the family. The pictures did come back from the professional photographer, but only a few days before our trip out to California. They are now out there being perused by the first set of parents. We will try to get them back as soon as possible but it will be a while until we do. However, we do still have the video if anyone is dying for some oak-leaved fun.

Some questions, looking back at the whole experience:
How do you possibly spend $23,000 on a wedding? We were trying to be cheap, but I still don't think I could spend that much even if we weren't on a budget.

WHAT is wrong with registering at sears? We now know who the really cool people are, and our garage thanks them too.

WHY don't you buy things off the registry? Unless you know us VERY VERY well, it's most likely getting returned, if you were considerate enough to give us the reciept. We don't want the crazy switchblade steak knives, we want the regular ones. Now I feel like Davy Crockett every time I eat a meal.

Why do people go so nuts over the whole thing? I feel like I was one of the more sane people that day.

and the question I find most on my mind today...
Has it been two months already? I love you, Schmoops. Happy wedding.

Happy wedding, indeed.

As for the knives, I thought you liked them. We could have found a way to return them. Now I'll have to call you Mrs. Crockett when we eat meat!

Sniff...sorry about not getting a gift off the registry, I jut thought that vase and photo box would be more personal.

Hey - the photo box and vase were very cool, and we're actually USING the gifts you got us! Most stuff we didn't like we've ended up just returning. ;-)
