The weather today is terrible. Ice storms, rain, snow, and a general soupy mess. I watched the news for a while today before leaving for work. They checked in with the poor sap "on assignment" on an icy bridge who had to keep reporting "it's still bad. be careful. Anyone hiring newspeople?" Returing to the news desk, the anchor said "So Randy, it sounds like the weather is ... pretty darn crappy." My thoughts exactly, lady.

I bought some speakers for my work yesterday. I spent the extra $20 and got the logitech with a subwoofer for under my desk, and I'm quite pleased. Austin introduced me to streaming radio through Winamp, and I'm finally free of the crappy radio stations up here. No more sped-up songs, and different ones than the three usually played over and over. It's making the time I'm stuck in excel much easier to handle, too.
