Back again from another chicago weekend, filled with fun and excitement. We went to Crate and Barrel friday to register for all the stuff we couldn't find at Bed, Bath & Beyond. They gave us a little spiral-bound notebook full of checklists and other stuff.
"Awww, it's a little book all about plates and flatware!"
"Is there a happy ending?"
"Oh yes, the dish runs away with the spoon."
At this point I needed to collapse on the escalator arm, I was so overcome with mirth. Later that day Austin made another incredibly hilarious joke at a big wine store, but I can't remember what it was.
We did a ton of walking around in freezing weather and had a lovely valentine's day at a nice italian place. After that we headed over to a piano bar near his place, and the manager gave Austin two VIP passes because he heard him saying he lived nearby. How swanky. We spent some time saturday evening thinking of songs for the favor CDs, but we're still short by 2 or 3 songs. Anyone got any ideas? Selections by Philip Glass will not be considered.

NOT
Something Old,
Something New,
Something Beatles,
Something Fru.
. . .
Perhaps:
"In My Life"
"I Will Hold On"
We've got "I will Hold On" on the list. Fru will be represented nicely.
No Beatles selections, though. Janine would probably know which songs would flow with the mood of our CD a little better than I.
I like the rhyme, D!
