Melissa just started her Ph.D. work in St. Louis about 2 weeks ago, but is living in an apartment with a bed, desk and lamp. Needless to say, the girl needs some cheap furniture.

So... she's making the 5 hour drive from St. Louis to the 2nd nearest IKEA, which just happens to be in Schaumburg, IL.

So... we're gonna head south and do a little IKEA shopping and Sweedish meatball eating with her once she arrives, and she'll be hanging out with us until Sunday before she makes the drive back. Once she's back in St. Louis, she'll suddenly learn that "some assembly required" isn't as much fun as advertized.
