It's too early for God to be bowling.
So it's 6am on a Friday morning. I think I've been more-or-less awake since 3am when a series of thunderstorms came roaring through in a fury of rain and thunder. I finally got out of bed at 5am - the same time Janine does - when my normal course of action is to completely ignore the 5am alarm and sleep straight into 6am.
You know it's a good storm, though, when you see the lightning bolt hit accross the street and hear the *crack* *boom* before you can even count to 'one'.

Posted by: melissa on May 13, 2005 09:34 AMI was on the laptop. Janine was on the desktop Mac this morning when the power went out. That only freaked her out a little bit. ;-)
Posted by: Austin on May 13, 2005 01:25 PMThat is a problem with Seattle. There are no thunderstorms. I have lived here two years and I have never seen a good one in all that time. You'd think we'd get a little lightning with all that rain!
Posted by: Shawn on May 13, 2005 08:24 PMI think that I only saw one thunderstorm ever while I grew up in the Bay Area. When you went further inland, like summer camp in Susanville, they became a little more common.
