Floral felted bag finito

Felting is alternately thrilling and terrifying. On the one hand, you're intentionally destroying something you spent months working on. On the other hand, you can turn this flopy, suitcase-sized pancake from this:

beautifully knitted purse such as this - would take a mere mortal years to complete. Are you bewitched or just amaziningly talented. YES! It runs in the family.!!!! Will you teach me how to do this over Christmas vacation?

Absolutely! We can go pick out some nice yarn for a scarf and have at it! We'll be out the entire week between christmas and new year's.
