Nail guns and networking

We've been running around in a frenzy of last-minute projects before Jack and Bonnie get out here. It's the fist time the in-laws have seen our place, and we've actually finished all the stuff we wanted to get done. I'll have to take a picture of the chinese bathroom for it defies mere words with its fantasticalness. The shoji screens are a handcrafted work of art.

I finally convinced my work to give me a laptop, they switched me over on Monday. For all my geeky gadget-loving tendencies this is still the first laptop I've owned. It connected right up with the wireless network at home and it's a good feeling that I might be able to work from home a little now instead of being stuck at work. On the totally girly flip side of things, I can't find a laptop bag I like and think I want to sew my own. With all these projects finishing off, I need to get some more ones lined up! And I don't feel much like spending piles of money on this or this or this. I figure I can make something much cooler for $40 or so.

I would kill to work from home, even just once a week.

All you need is pneumonia! They're super happy to not have me infecting them. I can mail you a box.
