Things have not been exciting with just me in the house, but I have a hilarious story from last week. While we were pumpkin carving, there was a small piece we were going to hold together with a toothpick. Aus had the container of toothpicks out and the bottom of the tube opened suddenly, dropping toothpicks all over the kitchen floor. I nearly fall over my feet to run up to him and say "Forty-two! Definitely forty-two toothpicks!" I hadn't seen Rainman enough to know the exact toothpick number, but it was hilarious. Austin was still all upset about toothpicks all over the floor because of a silly mistake, and my antics confused him for a moment until he caught on.

I have a surprise for Austin when he gets home tonight! While he was gone, I tackled a special surprise project. It took me the entire week to finish, but looks quite nice. We'll see if he notices.
