About a year and a half ago, I found some really cool boots while I was supposed to be christmas shopping for other people. Winter boots, boots for making snowmen and tromping through drifts. Boots such as I had never really owned and these were obviously the pinnacle of bootdom. Seeing as I'm not really a shoe person, you must understand the fantastic power of the boots. I tried them on and tromped about the store, but they had a pricetag of $65. While you're in college, $65 is about 650 meals of ramen noodles and I just didn't have the cash. I sadly put them back and dreamt about them every night since. Today, while I was out and about I found the boots again. For a mere $15 they came begging back to me. I welcomed them with open arms, since I took it to be a sign from above. I'm well aware they will appeal to only me, and everyone else will cower in fear of the radically different boots. Screw you all. We're quite happy together, and wishing for some snow again.
